Hi Friends ๐
I'm back in Taiwan!! After 2 years, I'm again doing a semester abroad in Taiwan, but this time in Tainan (last time was in Kaohsiung).
So, February 6th 2017, I left France for a new adventure.
Here's my flight story:
I first took a plane from Paris CDG to Amsterdam. The plane was an Air France Airbus A321 (Business Class).
During this flight of 1 hour, I had a light meal:
- Zucchini and feta cheese flan, salmon yakitori brochettes, lemon-chive cream
- Mini chocolate puff pastry, mini St-Tropez cream pastry
- Pineapple marinated with spices
- Confection
- Beverage

Then, in Amsterdam, I had a connection to get in the flight that will lead me to Taiwan. I was in a KLM Boeing 777-200 (Business Class).
PS: my neighbour in the plane was a very nice Dutch businessman and we've chat a lot about beautiful places to see in Taiwan ๐
On board, served after departure, I had as dinner:
- Smoked tuna salad on crepe with curry cream, avocado mousse and herring caviar, served with a dressing of vadouvan spices
- Mexican chicken picadillo with pickled cucumber, red onion, carrots, asparagus and green peas
- Librije Banana Royal
- Drinks
Because it was a night-flight, I've slept for most of the time in my seat/bed (that's why I love business class so much haha) and before landing, a breakfast was served:
- Kaiserschmarrn with custard cream pudding and apricot, fresh fruit, creamy yoghurt, sweet spreads, viennoiserie
- coffee
And here I am! After a 16 hours flight, I finally made it to Taoyuan airport.
Because when I landed, it was already the end of the day, I decided to stay one night in an airport Hotel. I've chosen the Novotel Taipei Taoyuan International Airport****.
I had an upgraded room (I was suppose to have a Standard Junior room but I was given a Executive room).
It was a really nice room (that includes a buffet breakfast):
And that's how I got to Taiwan (again) ๐
I will very soon post about my first week in Tainan
