All the little animals in our backyard

 Hi Friends :)

So... we live in a city that is like a small village in the middle of France even though we are very close to Paris

We love it

We often encounter some animal visit (adding to the animal we already have at home)

Here's some photos I took from them

Introducing Mr Squirrel who lives with us all year long

 Mrs Cutie Birdie who visit us in Winter

Mr and Mrs Green Budgie who often comes in Spring

Mr  Great Spotted Woodpecker who comes and go along the year

Mr Hedgehog who only visited us twice so far

And of course, we cannot forget our Mr Monoi

2021 .... a bigger challenge than 2020

 Hi Friends :)

2021 was kinda a difficult year for me... both physically and mentally

It basically made me regret 2020... and its lockdowns

The year started with me getting the diagnosis of fibromyalgia

"Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain accompanied by fatigue, sleep, memory and mood issues. Researchers believe that fibromyalgia amplifies painful sensations by affecting the way your brain and spinal cord process painful and nonpainful signals."

 I was therefore put on sick leave from mid-January until March.

In March, I came back to work but in therapeuthic half-time

My days were basically displayed in work in the morning and treatment in the hospital in the afternoon.

In May I went in my family in Lorraine as I haven't since them since 2019..

Little did I know things will get worse...

My grandad passed away June 15th 2021... I am very happy that I was able to see him in May but also very sad and devastated.

He went in heaven to rejoin the love of his life, my grandma Yvette, who passed at the same date in 2013.

After that, I went into depression and was back again on sick leave until mid August.

September 2021: We went on Holiday with Jérome to cheer me up a bit. We decided to stay in France this year.

We enjoyed 10 days at the Pierre et Vacances of Moliets and Maa.

We also visited for the first time for me, Biarritz and Bayonne.

On our way back to Paris, we stopped in Jérôme's family near Nérac 

This getaway of 3 weeks in total helped a lot with my mental health and my depression but I was not cured.... Of course, grief doen't go away easily

The end of the year was meant to be a happy time as Jérôme and I will soon have our own place... but again 2021 was not going to let me be happy as things started to get messed up... But that's a story for beginning of 2022

To end this on a positive note, we got snow for the end of the year!

2020... the year of COVID 19

 Hi Friends :)

So... here's how 2020 started for me (perfectly normal, ignoring what was ahead...)

January: Went to Vincennes racecourse as a New Year lunch with my colleagues. It was my first time going to an hippodrome and I loved it.

We even went to the stables 

March: Jérôme and I went for a weekaway to Normandie, not knowing that a week after we got back, the first lockdown will start

Lockdown 1: From March 17th to May 11th 2020

Summer 2020: We got lucky enough and were able to go to Herssonissos, Crete, Greece

When we got back from holiday, I got the tattoo I've been thinking about since I was still a high schooler

And I love it 💖

Lockdown 2: From October 30th until December 15th 2020

And then the year ended with us being happy to celebrate Christmas in family

THE BLOG IS CHANGING... CAN YOU TELL ?

As you might see, the blog is changing...

 I decided to do that because I'm not the person I used to bein 2017.

Therefore, it is only fair that the blog evolves also

So you might see some bugs around and pages changing from one visit to another

But it's totally normal

I will make an edit once I'll be done

Hopefully, I can make my vision come true as soon as possible 😉

Well Hello There... Long Time No See. What happened in 2018 and 2019 ?

I'm back!!! I know it's been like what?? 3 years since the last time I've posted something here.... But, I got pretty busy.

Doing what?

Well, here's a recap 

2018: I moved to China on March 2018 and stayed there until the end of November. I was working at the front desk of hotel near Shanghai.

As I was in China, I took on the opportunity to visit of course Shanghai

and Bejing

and climb the Great Wall

and visit Xi'an and it's famous Terracotta army

My time there was really awesome but I was really happy when it ended and I came back to France.

Early 2019, I got a temporary job in a supermarket and... I met the person who is now sharing my life and who I'm building a future with... 

He's name's Jérôme and he's a baker.

So from there, all my aventures were no longer solo but duo 👫

April 2019: Graduation ceremony from my business school: EM NORMANDIE

I'm officially the holder of a Master degree in International Business 

May 2019: I got a position at Veolia Water Technologies as a sales administrator (and still got the same position 3 years after) 

Summer 2019: first trip with Jerome and first time on a plane for him

We went to Hammamet, Tunisia

November 2019: We went to Disneyland Paris for my birthday 😄

Christmas 2019 and New Year 2020: Jérôme and I spent the holidays in his family💖
